Cindy...Sorry to hear about your loss. The last few years you have spent many an hour being at your Mom's side. I hope that now she will be able to be a rest in peace. Haven't seen you for a while at our morning meetings at Wal-mart?

Bonnie Frey was probably one of my favorite teachers of all time. I had the privilage of having her for both first and second grade when she taught in Stanfield in the 70''''s. My Mom was also her teacher''''s aide for that time. I recall a book we read once in her class about a little girl who hurried through everything. I had a tendency to do that with my school work, so she nicknamed me "Dimity", after the girl in the story. My Mom still calls me that once in a while and I''''m 43 now!

My Mom also recalled a day in class when we were all very talkative and Bonnie was fed up with us, so she made every student hold a popcicle stick in their mouth sideways. Who should walk in about that time, but the prinicipal! What a sight to see -- a classroom full of students all with popcicle sticks hanging out of their mouths.

My thoughts and prayers go to her family during this time of sadness. May she rest in peace.
