Harry Joseph Robbins Pendleton April 2, 1943 – March 22, 2012 Harry Joseph "Joe" Robbins 68, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, in his home in Pendleton after a long illness with cancer. Disposition will be by cremation. As per Joe's wishes, there will be no funeral services. He wanted everyone to remember him as he was before his illness. Mr. Robbins was born April 2, 1943, to Robert L. and Kathleen Collins Robbins in Kansas City, Missouri. He also lived in Austin, Texas, and San Francisco, California. He attended schools in Kansas City, Missouri, and San Francisco, California. He has lived in Pendleton for 25 years. On May 24, 1987 he married Sandra MacLeod in Pendleton. He worked as a carpenter and handyman, truck driver and salesman. He retired in 2011. Survivors include his wife Sandra of Pendleton, a sister Patty Herrera & husband Freddie of Pendleton, OR, a son Patrick Robbins of Pendleton, OR, daughter Kathleen Brehaut & husband David of Pendleton, OR, step-son Michael Kissick & wife Suzanne of Chino Hills, CA, and step-daughter Elaine Bradford & husband Ed of Mesa, Arizona. He had 10 grandchildren: Zakery and Alexi Brehaut of Pendleton, OR, Samantha Robbins of Pendleton, OR, Brandon Bowers, Spencer Kissick, Micaela Kissick and Jessica Chow of Chino Hills, CA, and Brittany, Lorenzo and Trey Bradford of Mesa, AZ, and nephew Michael McFarlane of Glendale, AZ, and Michael's two sons Christopher and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Robbins and his mother Kathleen Collins Martin. Contributions in memory of Harry Joe Robbins may be made to St. Anthony Cancer Clinic and/or St. Anthony Hospice, both of Pendleton, OR.
