Condolences to the family. Joe & I would share a morning thermos of coffee at the old Tribal Police Office at the gym. It was a great way to start the day. He worked for the BIA Law Enforcement Agency & I was a Communications Officer with UTPD. Those memories are wonderful. Take care.

Joe..I first met him when I first started working at the Umatilla Tribal PD back in 1986. He became a frequent visitor on the weekends when I was working alone, it was his coffee break. Always smiling. Always friendly. Always had some good advice. He knew when I was down or stressed..he always took the time to listen. Even after he retired. When we'd see each other, he would give me a hug. I will miss my friend much.. :'-
