Sherrill, Shelley and Kim - It was with surprise and sadness that I read of Larry’s passing. Larry was a genuine gentleman of honor and integrity. From the first time I met him as a Helix school board member over 30 years ago, I have always had the greatest respect for Larry and Sherrill. For a marriage to last over 50 years is a reflection of the love and understanding you had for each other. Pain and sadness will fade with time and the memories you shared will help fill the void. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

I always picture Larry with a smile on his face. Listening to him & Denny recall childhood memories from when they worked with their fathers was always hugely entertaining. He was our treasured best man. I send special caring thoughts to Sherrill, Shelley, & my Goddaughter Kim from both myself and Denny's & my children Sean & Heather.

I cherish memories of my friendship with Larry in 1953 through 1957. We double-dated in the summer of 1956; Larry was with his girl friend and I was on my first date with Kellie who is now my wife. I remember his cool 1950 or 1951 Chevy coupe that he customized when was at O.T.I.. Larry was really a good guy and great friend!

We are sorry for your loss. Larry was a great guy and one year helped my nephew with a summer job driving wheat truck. It was fun to sit and listen to him tell stories of the past. He was a man of his word. He will be greatly missed.

Dearest Sherrill, You've shared many wonderful Larry stories with me and I know him as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. May it always comfort you to know his life contributions to his family, neighbors, and all your many friends will always be valued and remembered. My first memories go all the way back to 1963 when your sister, Lynn took me to the Pendleton Roundup and I still remember Larry as a hard working "skinny butt cowboy who loved cars". We were so young but even then his work ethic and love of his family was very evident. You are in my thoughts and prayers, Linda Bryant One of the Four Queens
