Donna M. Schultz – a resident of Pendleton, died on Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Pendleton, at the home of her son. She was 74 years old. Viewing will be held between the hours of 3:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Burns Mortuary in Pendleton. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 7, 2011, in the Burns Mortuary Chapel in Pendleton, followed by interment at Skyview Memorial Park, also in Pendleton. Contributions in memory of Donna Schultz may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association, and may be sent in care of Burns Mortuary of Pendleton, PO Box 489, Pendleton, OR 97801. Donna was born on February 24, 1936 in Bearcreek, Montana, to John and Margaret Campell Massick. She was raised in Red Lodge, Montana, where she attended schools. On February 19, 1955 she married Harold Henry Schultz in Richland, Washington. Together, they had five children. The couple had lived in several places in the Great Northwest, and came to Pendleton, OR, in 1994. Donna had worked as a homemaker and mother for many years. She had also worked as a waitress and cannery worker until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Catholic Church, and had attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Pendleton. Her hobbies included going yard sales and shopping. She was passionate about her family, and loved the holidays. Survivors include: Three sons, Ronald and John Schultz, both of Pendleton, and Harold Schultz of Spokane, Washington. Two daughters, Diane Ingle and Tammy Ellis, both of Pendleton; one brother, John Massick of Red Lodge, Montana, twelve grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Schultz, a brother George Massick and her parents.
