Edward Paul Crowe, 63 of Pendleton died at his home on Monday, October 18th. By his own request a viewing will be held on Thursday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. until 6;00 p.m. in Burns Mortuary of Pendleton Chapel. Services will follow on Friday, October 22nd at 10:00 am in the Pi-Nee-Waus Community Center with burial to follow in the Nez Perce Tribal Cemetery in Lapwai, Idaho. Eddie Crowe was born in May 23, 1947 to Elmer and Hattie Joye Crowe in Orofino, Idaho. He was raised by is grandmother, Edna Howard and close cousin, Betsy Miller. Eddie graduated from Orofino and enlisted into the Army. After serving in the Army he returned and began working as a long haul truck driver for many years. His next career was working with the Fish & Game and began his law enforcement career with the Bureau of Indian Affairs Police Department and was stationed at Camp Verde, Arizona and later in Lapwai Tribal Police. He retired from law enforcement and moved to Pendleton with is wife, Julie of 30 years. They have two children, Lyman and Wendel Crowe. He was an enrolled member and elder of the CTUIR. He enjoyed working at the Wildhorse Resort & Casino before retiring, due to his health. Eddie is survived by his wife, Julie Crowe of Pendleton; children, Lyman & Wendel Crowe of Pendleton. Children from a pervious marriage with Barbara Schinsay; David Crowe, Eddie Jr. both of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Brothers, Reggie Crowe of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, Jeff Crowe of Kamiah, Idaho, Louie LaSarte of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Elmer Crowe of Sweetwater, Idaho and Raymond Lasarte of Coeur d' Alene. Sisters, Joyce Admeyers of Coeur d'Alene Reservation, Elizabeth Crowe, Seattle, Washington, Brenda Moses, Plummer, Idaho, Bernie Lasarte of Couer d'Alene Reservation. Many nieces and nephews from Oregon and Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Hatttie, brother, Greg Crowe, sister, Angela LaSarte James.

We are sorry to hear of your loss of eddie. He is now with god. I remember the good times working with eddie at wildhorse in security. He was a great boss and friend to everyone. I remember that if I wasn't in trouble with him He would call me Shirdee and if he called me by my right name, then i knew watchout.He will be missed.Our prayer go out to you and your family.

Dear Family - Eddie was a great guy and did his job very well. We all loved working with him and I especially enjoyed all his stories of his growing up with his grandmother. He will always be missed in our Security Department. Your are all in our thoughts and prayers and please find comfort in the memories of a wonderful and kind man.

My condolences to the Crowe Family, During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assure that our Grand Creator cares about you personally 1Peter5:7 and can help you though this difficult time. Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. May your happy memories and sure scriptural hope comfort your hearts during this painful time.

Elmer, Jeff and extended family's, sorry for your loss may creator watch over all of you folks. Ed really helped me during some rough times years ago, I will always remember and thank him for that, may he have a great journey.
