Amy Marie Blanchet, 41, of Pendleton passed away on January 23, 2018.  She was born on February 15, 1976 in Portland, Oregon to Larry and Linda (Wyatt) Blanchet. 

 

She attended McKay Creek Elementary, Pendleton Jr. High and graduated from Pendleton High School in 1994.  Amy also attended Blue Mt. Community College throughout the years exploring various studies.  She worked at Keystone RV Company in the Quality Assurance Department and also as a Server at Golden Fountain.

 

Spending time with family and friends always brought Amy the most joy. Amy loved to attend her children’s sporting events, school activities and spending as much time with them as possible.  She also enjoyed listening to music, gardening, camping, fishing, arts, crafts and vacations to the Oregon Coast.  Throughout her life she never failed to notice the good in everyone and was always incredibly compassionate towards others.  

 

Amy is predeceased by her mother; Linda Blanchet.

 

She is survived by her children; Nicholas Blanchet of Pendleton, Marley Lehman of Pendleton, Shelby Lehman of Pendleton, father; Larry Blanchet of Pendleton, siblings; Katy Childers of Pasco, Washington, Suzanna (Jeff) Clark of Pendleton, Roseanne Blanchet (Charles Garner) of Pendleton and John (Kristin) Blanchet of Pendleton, nieces; Brooke Childers of Pasco, WA, Abbygale Blanchet of Pendleton and John Hunter Blanchet of Pendleton.

 

A private placement of her urn will be held at Olney Cemetery.

Celebration of Amy’s life will be held at the First Church of God downstairs in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00PM.

I deeply sorry for your loss. I did not know Amy that well but what I did know of her was that she was a very sweet person.
