Luona Genevieve (Mull) Thompson, 79, of Pilot Rock passed away in the loving company of her family on November 11, 2017.  Luona was born on April 20, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to David and Luona (Smith) Mull.  She grew up with two brothers and the family moved a few places in the southern region until settling in Hermiston in the 1950s.

They welcomed four children and tragically lost one shortly after her birth.  As a family they enjoyed camping, fishing and anything that got them outdoors.  Vacations and major holidays were usually spent on the Oregon Coast, one of Luona’s favorite places.

Luona loved to sew, crochet, and do anything that she could express her artistic abilities. She was a Campfire Girl and Cub Scout Leader, long time attendee of the Assembly of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters; Deborah Thompson and Brenda Thompson.
